Responsible for the identification, solicitation, selection of suppliers
and award of contracts for assigned commodities. Must be able to
perform all required functiions, including negotiations to insure that
cost, quality, cycle time, inventory and delivery objectives are met.
Role is responsible for supplier quality as well as providing technical
and leadership support. Assist suppliers with manufacturability
problems and technical concerns. Provide leadership in executing supply
chain improvements. Generate and maintain purchase order release
schedules, expediting, and proposal support.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
BS Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated problem solving skills. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Proven self-starter capable of completing
multiple tasks. Computer proficiency.
Experience in electronics sourcing, mechanical sourcing, or quality
engineering.
